I started doing yoga at home with my Mom when I was about 10 years old. We practiced to one of those 80s yoga VHS tapes. My dogs always joined and watched us make our way through the poses. Ever since I’ve done yoga on and off until a few years ago when my physical and emotional health so badly needed support. I was going through my graduate school program in marriage and family therapy and was holding the stress in my back and shoulders to the point of severe pain. I returned to my practice at this time, first starting with a couple days a week at home practicing to YouTube videos (Yoga with Adriene!). When I was still struggling I decided to join a studio nearby. It was Fall of 2017, about a year later, that I decided to do my 200RYT teacher training. Since then I’ve completed my graduate program and hope to combine my skills as a therapist and as a yoga instructor into all of my classes. My mission is to bring body positivity, self love, self compassion, and emotional, physical and spiritual well-being to my students! I can’t wait to see you in class.
