Join Sarah Lyyli for a 6 week deep dive into the practice of self-care during the winter months. Even though this class was spread over 6 weeks, drop-ins are welcome at any time.
Even in the Northwest, the winter brings with it a dry brittleness that seeps into our bones. The days are shorter & we can go weeks without sun. We tend to create new habits with these changes (extra cup of coffee here, hitting snooze a few more times there) as we often seek warmth and slumber. These are all good things, but with it, we still need to find balance.
In this series, our goal will be to gain a better understanding of Ayurveda + Asana + Pranayama + Meditation + Journaling and how they can be applied to bring balance and self-care to our everyday life. We will focus on building a strong container to better support us during these months where the immune system is tasked and we tend to be indoor bound. Creating awareness around how we not only show up, but how the seasons show up as well.
Each class will include educational materials & discussion, meditation, asana, & most importantly savasana.
Individual drop in classes available for $14.
With registration, you will receive a complimentary pass to Tuesday & Thursday's open studio (from 7:30 - 9:00 am) where Jodie will take you through the studies of the week before & guide you through the evolution of your practice.
